ATLANTA -- Delta Air Lines says a passenger was found dead aboard a flight from Lagos, Nigeria to Atlanta.
Delta spokeswoman Susan Elliott says the airline is working with medical authorities to determine the facts in the case. Elliott says the passenger was found unresponsive early Monday aboard Delta Flight 53, about an hour out of Atlanta and about 11 hours from the time it took off.
Atlanta police spokesman Otis Redmond says foul play is not suspected. A Georgia Bureau of Investigation medical examiner's investigator was sent to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Delta says it can't provide the passenger's identity.
