NORCROSS -- Vietnamese culture will be on display at a fall festival sponsored by the The Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Catholic Church.
The second annual event, scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, includes nightly concerts by top Vietnamese artists, a harvest moon lantern show, tradition dress contest and special performances from the church's youth. Last year's festival drew 20,000 people, a press release said.
"You will have a chance to sample traditional delicacies such as fall festival rolls, seven-color sweet pudding, autumn harvest cake, a variety of mouth-watering Asian kabobs and too many other delicious items to list," an e-mail said.
Admission to the festival is free, and a complimentary shuttle service will be available.
The church will be selling raffle tickets for $20 a piece for prizes including a 2010 Honda Accord EX W.4L, $5,000 in cash, a laptop, a desktop computer, camcorder, Apple iPad, digital camera and more. Proceeds will benefit the church and its ministries.
Tickets can be purchased now, and the church is offering for a limited time, one free ticket for every five tickets purchased. For raffle ticket information, call Son Nguyen at 678-654-2530.
