Mrs. Susie "Sue" Lee Davis Waycaster, age 93, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, August 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Clyde Waycaster; son, Terry Waycaster; parents, Jim and Gertrude Davis; sister, Dot Henderson; and brother, Donald Davis. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Wanda Waycaster Banks and husband, David Banks, Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Terry and Dana Waycaster, Buford, GA, Anissa and Travis McCammon, Buford, GA and Brandon Reed, Flowery Branch, GA; great grandchildren, Ashton McCammon and Joseph Reed; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Winford and Essie Mae Waycaster, Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Waycaster was born December 13, 1916 in Lawrenceville, GA. She was known for her cake baking expertise. She was the last charter member and the oldest member of West Buford Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler for twenty years and bowled with a lot of ladies from Buford. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and was loved by all. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Southerland and Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to West Buford Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o David Banks, 5321 Peach Blossom Trail, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 in memory of Sue Waycaster.
