Eileen Nickerson, age 85, of Suwanee, GA, passed away on August 18, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeland Nickerson. Eileen is survived by her son, Mark Nickerson of Plantation, Fl.; daughter, Francena Maloney of Suwanee, GA,; sister, Marjorie Yantz of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Shadowbrook Baptist Church, Suwanee, GA, on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at 3:00 with Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating. The Family will receive friends from 2:15 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Compassionate Hospice of North Georgia in honor of Eileen Nickerson. Byars Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Cumming, Georgia will be in charge of the arrangements, 678-455-5815.
