Natural resources: Snellville man combines loves to become mineral artist

If you look in David Babulski's bedroom-turned-studio, you might think he's a painter or a mad scientist. The walls are covered in framed, detailed watercolors of colorful minerals. Three rows of little tan jars hold dozens of brushes and pencils. But on two different desks are tall microscopes with a special movable stand Babulski invented. Heavy, dusty textbooks on minerals are scattered around.
