William Earl Waddy, Jr.

Mr. William Earl Waddy, Jr., age 85, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Mrs. Gene Waddy, Suwanee, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy W. and Raymond Lee, Suwanee, GA and Wanda Gene and David Waters, Stockbridge, GA; son, Charles Earl Waddy, Brooks, GA; grandchildren, Lauren Stecher, Megan Stecher, Evan Waddy and Kelsey Waddy; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim Morris, Heflin, AL and Rev. Jack and Jackie Bozeman, Elberton, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Waddy was born January 12, 1925 in Atlanta, GA. He was a graduate of Hapeville High School and a 1950 graduate of the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting. He was a veteran of World War II with the Army Air Corps. He was retired from Ford Motor Company after thirty-five years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford where he was also a member of the Upper Room Sunday School Class. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Kirk Bozeman officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow at College Park Cemetery in College Park, GA with Rev. Jack Bozeman officiating.
