It’s an event that will combine music and sports — rock and roll and country tunes performed live with appearances and autograph signings by athletes and coaches.
The Rock & Jock Family Fest will kick off at 5 p.m. Saturday at Town Center Park sponsored by the city of Suwanee and radio station 790 The Zone and featuring New Orleans-based band Cowboy Mouth and local country crooner Andy Velo. As performers take the stage players, coaches, mascots and cheerleaders from Atlanta area teams — the Hawks, Thrashers, Dream, Gladiators and Yellow Jackets — will sign autographs and meet and greet festival-goers.
