LILBURN -- A neighbor told police that two men were looking for a male victim just hours before he was robbed at gunpoint in front of a Lilburn relative's home.
The victim reported that he was sitting in his Acura sedan outside the Covered Wagon Trail home of his uncle at around 11 p.m. last Tuesday night, using his laptop when a red Chevrolet Malibu pulled up.
One suspect, described as a tall, skinny black man, exited the vehicle and approached the victim, pointing a semi-automatic pistol at his face and saying "gimme everything," police said.
The victim then reported pushing the gun out of his face. Retaliating, the suspect struck him in the face with the weapon, taking his cell phone, laptop and cash.
A second suspect, a "skinny small black male," then exited the Malibu when a female in the car with the victim attempted to escape. Her purse was stolen.
Forcing the two victims to walk into the woods, the suspects fled, police said.
The next door neighbor told police that around 6 p.m. that evening, two black men in a silver Honda Civic had approached him looking for the victim.
The male victim, who suffered cuts over his eye and upper lip, said there may have been two other male suspects that did not exit the Malibu later that night.
