LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for help in identifying the man who robbed the SunTrust branch inside a Lawrenceville Publix Wednesday.
At about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, a black man entered the bank inside the grocery store at 4850 Sugarloaf Parkway, brandishing a handgun and demanding money from a teller.
Making out with an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot. The FBI released surveillance photos of the suspect Thursday.
The robber is described as a black man approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet tall and around 170 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a camouflage baseball hat, a black Ralph Lauren polo shirt and sunglasses.
He is believed to be tied to the June 15 robbery of a SunTrust inside a Publix on Ashford-Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI's Atlanta office at 404-679-9000.
