LETTERS: Gay marriage cartoon a slap in Gwinnett's face

Well once again the Gwinnett Daily Post sticks it finger in the eye of county residents.

I would guess that most of Gwinnett County or at least half consider themselves to be conservative Christians. Why would the GDP single out fundamental Christians for mocking about the recent decision by a homosexual liberal judge that negated the law that marriage is to be between one man and one women?

Why not add to the list of those who oppose homosexual marriage: Orthodox Jews, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Muslims and Roman Catholics? Why are Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton never depicted as knuckle-dragging neanderthals, even though they are opposed to homosexual marriage?

The cartoon was a simple minded, knee-jerk and liberal swipe at who they consider to be an easy target: conservative Christians. They know that in the circles that they travel it will get a hoot, howl and slap on the back.

I've decided that I have had enough. When my subscription expires, I will not be renewing.
