BUFORD — A Phillips State Prison inmate was booked in the local jail this week after a routine search found him in possession of a cell phone, authorities said.
William Slaton, 29, of Macon, is charged with giving articles to convicts, jail records show. Slaton was sentenced to six years in prison on a Bibb County burglary conviction in 2006.More like this story
