SUWANEE -- The Downtown Development Authority and newly formed Downtown Business Association are offering gift certificates that may be used at more than a dozen downtown Suwanee shops and restaurants as well as many merchants at the Suwanee Farmers Market.
The gift certificates, available in denominations of $5, $10, $20 and $50, "will support downtown businesses and encourage residents to shop local," Suwanee Downtown Manager Catherine Dixon said. "They make a perfect gift for just about anyone or any occasion. You could give them to teachers, co-workers, babysitters or to say 'happy birthday,' 'thank you' or 'congratulations.'"
Downtown Suwanee gift certificates may be purchased online at www.downtownsuwanee.com using PayPal; the link for gift certificates is below the calendar on the home page.
Certificates also may be purchased at the financial services department window inside City Hall during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Participating businesses include Brown Bag Deli, Creative ClayHouse, Hairllucinations, Ippolito's, La Ti Da, Main Street Photography, Mellow Mushroom, Olde Towne Tavern and Grille, Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar, Panache, Peace Love & Pottery, Planet Smoothie, Revival Salon, Sol Interiors and participating Farmers Market merchants.
