LAWRENCEVILLE -- An 80-year-old Norcross man who vanished Wednesday evening turned up a few hours later in Forsyth County, police said Thursday.
The man, who is believed to have Alzheimer's disease, left his Spalding Bluff Drive home sometime Wednesday afternoon in a Buick Terraza van.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a Mattie's Call after family members reported him missing to Gwinnett police.
The man was found in good health about 11:30 p.m. and has been reunited with family in Norcross, said Gwinnett police spokesman Officer Brian Kelly.
