Courtney Wood and Stephen Benton
Mr. and Mrs. Gregory S. Wood of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter Courtney Elizabeth Wood of Lawrenceville to Stephen Drake Benton of Milledgeville, son of L. Stephen Benton of Milledgeville and Patricia S. Benton of Dublin.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward N. Grady and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie E. Wood. She is a 2004 graduate of Brookwood High School and a 2008 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where she received a degree in early childhood education. She is employed with Gwinnett County Public Schools. The future groom is the grandson of Evelyn Benton of Monticello and the late J.C. Benton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred D. Scoggins Sr. He is a 2004 graduate of Georgia Military College, a 2009 graduate of Georgia College and State University and is pursuing a master's degree at Georgia College and State University. The wedding is planned for May 29 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.More like this story
