DULUTH -- Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will make a return trip to Gwinnett County, this time in support of a national ministry.

Palin was last in Gwinnett in December 2008 campaigning for Saxby Chambliss, who was in a run-off election, attempting to stave off the Democratic super majority in the Senate.

This time, Palin will be the keynote speaker for an event presented by The P.U.R.E. Ministry Project, a ministry of Zachariah's Way.

The P.U.R.E. Ministry Project is a nationwide effort to assist churches in including, ministering to and caring for individuals with special needs and their families.

The event will also include guest appearances by NASCAR driver David Ragan, special performances by various Christian artists and worship and praise led by Todd Fields. Kurt Warner and his wife Brenda will also join as guest speakers via a video message.

"We are grateful to have Sarah Palin and these honored guests as a part of this evening of P.U.R.E. Celebration," said David Glover, president of Zachariah's Way. "It will be an amazing and uplifting evening you will not want to miss."

Tickets to the event go on sale at 8 a.m. Friday. Gwinnett residents have a chance to meet Palin during the event by becoming a P.U.R.E. Celebration Partner. These VIP guests will receive exclusive seating and the chance to have a photo taken with Palin at an exclusive catered reception.

Free VIP Tickets for pastors and special needs families are available. For more information on both of these opportunities, call 678-318-1929 or visit www.pureministryproject.com.
