NORCROSS -- Strother White pitched a perfect game and struck out 10 batters to help Wesleyan rout Brookstone 10-0 in six innings on Saturday.
White improved to 5-1 this season.
Kevin O'Leary had three hits and a home run, while Mason Colquitt had two hits and a home run, and Drew Widner added a home run for Wesleyan (8-7).
Alex Thykeson had three hits, while Adam Workman and Devin Stanton each had two hits for the Wolves.
BASEBALL
Brookwood 16, Marist 7
ATLANTA -- Taylor Sketch got the win after throwing 11/3 innings, striking out one batter and only giving up a walk to help Brookwood beat Marist 16-7 on Saturday.
Leading the Broncos offensively were Lucas Sims (seven RBIs, two home runs) and
Chad Ikerd (4-for-4, three RBIs). Clint Carr went 2-for-2 with an RBI, Jacob Beauchamp was 2-for-3, Tremayne Toorie went 2-for-2, and Mike Gouge was 2-for-2 with two RBIs for Brookwood.
Providence 19, GAC 7
LILBURN -- Christin Stewart was 3-for-4 with three runs, a double and a grand slam with six RBIs to help Providence defeat Greater Atlanta Christian 19-7 in six innings on Saturday.
Tyler Brown went 4-for-5 with three runs. Kevin Dodson was 3-for-5 with four runs, Allan Skinner was 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBIs. Austin Smith went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for Providence (9-9).
Josh Carter went 22/3 innings and gave up a run and two hits while striking out three to earn the win on the mound.
Archer 12, Berkmar 5
LAWRENCEVILLE -- Archer beat Berkmar 12-5 on Saturday to earn its second win of the year and first at home.
Jordan Fountain threw a complete game, struck out five batters and gave up seven hits in the win. Offensively, Zeke Ramos was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs, while Kegan Johnston went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a run for the Tigers (2-17, 1-10).
GIRLS SOCCER
Parkview 4, Norcross 3
LILBURN -- Kim Spence led Parkview with two goals in a 4-3 win over Norcross on Saturday.
Molly Snipes and Stephanie Gutierrez each scored a goal, while Elena Karakizis and Maureen Buff each had an assist for Parkview (12-1-1).
Providence 1, North Oconee 0
LILBURN -- Tori Lopez scored the sole goal, with an assist by Emily Bougas to help Providence shut out North Oconee 1-0 on Saturday.
Jesse Kowalewicz had 10 saves in goal for Providence (5-7).
Mill Creek 4, Myrtle Beach 1
MYRTLE BEACH -- Mill Creek took a 4-1 win over Myrtle Beach on Saturday.
Tori Scalera, Courtney Emmert, Lauren Tanner and Aimee Herron each scored a goal, while Jessica Rose helped with two assists for Mill Creek (10-4).
BOYS SOCCER
Dacula 5, Pope 1
MARIETTA -- Ado Junuzovic led the Falcons with three goals as Dacula topped Pope 5-1 on Saturday.
Michael Kanu and Luis Huertas each scored a goal for Dacula (10-3).
Mill Creek 2, Myrtle Beach 1
MYRTLE BEACH -- Taylor Scalera scored with under two minutes left to lift Mill Creek to a 2-1 win over Myrtle Beach on Saturday.
Scalera scored both goals for the Hawks, while Eddie Hernandez and Tony Viza each had an assist for Mill Creek (7-7). Goalkeeper Josh Buckley had seven saves.
BOYS LACROSSE
Lambert 11, Wesleyan 5
SUWANEE -- Wesleyan fell to Lambert 11-5 on Saturday.
Harrison Cheley led the Wolves with two goals, while Connor Breslin, Davis Brown and Scott Schroer each scored a goal for Wesleyan (7-4).
