LAWRENCEVILLE -- Encompass Group Affiliates, a parts distributor and repair service provider for high-tech products and consumer electronics, is adding 100 jobs to Gwinnett County.
The New York-based electronics manufacturer is expected to announce the decision on Wednesday.
Company officials say they expect to spend about $250,000 to expand current offices in Lawrenceville, and for job training.
Most of the 100 jobs will be new hires, and the rest will relocate from the company's current service headquarters near Orlando, Fla.
The company moved its distribution center from Ft. Lauderdale to Lawrenceville in 2006 after hurricanes and bad weather convinced officials a change was best.
