ATLANTA -- A rush-hour pileup involving a Gwinnett County Transit bus was caused by the bus driver, officials said.
Details were fuzzy, but the bus hit two other cars on I-85 North near Shallowford Road about 6 p.m., causing four left lanes to be closed for less than an hour.
"From what I've been told there was a small chain reaction, and the driver has been charged (with causing the accident)," Gwinnett County spokesman Joe Sorenson said.
No serious injuries were reported, Sorenson said. The matter is being handled by the city of Atlanta and the county had not received a police report as of Tuesday night.
