Mr. Ed Trusty, age 64, of Winder, Georgia died April 3, 2010. A native of Fulton County, he was a son of the late Doyd and Dixie Brumbalow Trusty. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Hendricks. A Former Gwinnett County resident, he had resided in Barrow County since 1983. Mr. Trusty was a cabinet maker with Mosely Cabinet Shop of Jefferson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Monday, April 5, 2010 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Mr. John Henry Blakley officiating. The Family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 P. M. at the funeral home. Flowers are welcomed, or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, Georgia 30605-3007. Surviving are Wife, Kathleen Knight Trusty, Children, Robert “Bobby” and Faye Hutchins, and Edward Lee Trusty all of Winder, Tony Trusty of Bethlehem, and Carolyn and Chuck Chapple of Loganville, Brother, James Trusty of Waycross, Sisters, Janie Mullanix of Alpharetta, Shirley Smith of Flowery Branch and Willene Allen of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Five Grandchildren. Carter Funeral Home of Winder is in charge of arrangements.
