SNELLVILLE -- A two-vehicle crash on Webb Gin House Road near the Brightwater subdivision Saturday sent two children and one adult to the hospital.
The crash happened just after 5:45 p.m. and involved a sport-utility vehicle and a small compact car involved in an apparent T-bone accident, authorities said.
A 12-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl, both passengers in the SUV, were transported to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta. The 12-year-old was airlifted in serious condition, and the 13-year-old was taken by ambulance in stable condition, said Capt. Thomas Rutledge, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Fire Department.
The driver of the SUV, an 18-year-old man, and another passenger, a 13-year-old girl, were treated and released at the scene for minor injuries, Rutledge said.
The driver of the compact car, a 25-year-old woman, was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville in stable condition.
Because of federal patient privacy laws, Rutledge said he was unable to provide the identification, condition or specific injury information of the victims.
