Actors Danes, Dancy marry
LOS ANGELES - 'My So-Called Life' actress Claire Danes and 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' actor Hugh Dancy have married. Danes' spokeswoman Jodi Gottlieb said the 30-year-old Danes has married the 34-year-old Dancy more than two years after the couple met while filming 'Evening.' Gottlieb would not provide any additional details about the nuptials. The couple announced their engagement in February. Rather's suit against CBS thrown out NEW YORK - A New York court on Tuesday dismissed Dan Rather's $70 million breach of contract lawsuit against CBS Corp., noting that the network continued to pay the anchor $6 million a year even after he left the evening news broadcast. Rather sued CBS and its top executives in 2007, claiming he had been removed from his 'CBS Evening News' anchor post over a report that examined President George W. Bush's military service. The Appellate Division of the state Supreme Court said the complaint 'must be dismissed in its entirety.' NBC to show Shriver study LOS ANGELES - Maria Shriver and NBC Universal are teaming up for a weeklong programming series on the state of 21st-century U.S. women. The programs, which will be distributed on NBC Universal TV channels and online, are based on 'The Shriver Report: A Woman's Nation Changes Everything.'
