SNELLVILLE - A new family medicine doctor has joined Emory Eastside Medical Center.
Dr. Saghar Navid recently served as chief resident at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, N.J., and was once a post doctoral fellow at Emory University. Navid earned her medical degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. She practiced for four years as a general/primary care physician for Iran's Ministry of Health, Therapeutics and Medical Education. Navid came to the United States in 1999. She was granted citizenship in 2003 and has passed United States Medical Licensing Examinations. Navid's background includes community health experience and volunteer work with clinic and home visits.More like this story
