JoAnn Marie Pulliam and Andrew Thomas Stone were married July 19 at Monticello Baptist Church in Monticello. The Rev. Calvin Smith, the groom's uncle, officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Lisa Pulliam of Monticello. She is a 2004 graduate of Jasper County Comprehensive High School and a 2009 graduate of Valdosta State University, where she received a master's degree in education. She is employed as a teacher at S.L. Mason Elementary School in Valdosta.
The groom is the son of Rick and Dawn Stone of Lawrenceville. He is a 2004 graduate of Collins Hill High School and a 2009 graduate of Valdosta State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing.
Leigh Thornton of Turin served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Heather Barnes of Byron and Savannah McGinnis of Monticello.
Claire McCarty of Hoschton, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl and wedding hostesses were Catherine McCarty of Hoschton, cousin of the groom, and Mercedes Robinson and Margeaux Robinson of Dacula.
Rick Alan Stone Jr. of Sarasota, Fla., brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Ryan Baker of Lawrenceville and Michael Stone of Statesboro, cousin of the groom.
Wedding ushers and hosts were Robert Pulliam of Monticello, brother of the bride, and Samuel McGinnis of Monticello.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, West Indies, the couple resides in Valdosta.
