Mr. Fred Patterson, age 86, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2009. He was preceded in death by: wife, Louise White Patterson; parents, Zack and Mattie Delong Patterson; brothers, Jim Patterson, Homer Patterson, and Clarence Patterson; and sisters, Lillie Parker, Asalee Fraser, Onnie Waycaster; Emma Patterson, Minnie Parker, and Annie James. He is survived by: special nephews, Dennis and Janice James, Buford, GA and Stanley and Linda Jane James, Buford, GA; special niece, Ellean Fraser Bellany, Auburn, GA; and a host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Mr. Patterson was born October 22, 1922 in Hall County, GA. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Crocker and Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Junior E.
