NORCROSS -The shooter behind the Friday death of Rodolfo Pompa-Rangel at a gas station near Norcross remains at large.
Police identified the 35-year-old Snellville man Tuesday. He reportedly argued with another man Friday afternoon before shots rang out.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man who fled in a white vehicle. He shot Pompa-Rangel multiple times outside a Texaco station on Singleton Road near Indian Trail-Lilburn Road, according to police.
Police responded to the scene about 12:45 p.m., where they found the victim dead.
"There are no known suspects at this time," Gwinnett police Cpl. David Schiralli said Tuesday.
Police aren't sure if the two men knew each other.
Police urge anyone with information about the shooting to call the Gwinnett police homicide unit at 770-513-5300.
