Gwinnett Daily Post
On Thursday and Friday evenings, Gwinnett Medical Center set aside time to celebrate the grand opening of our new North Tower with community leaders, elected officials, physicians, donors, associates and friends.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended these events. They were a success because of the tremendous support we received from you. We continue to be able to plan, advance and transform health care because our community not only requires it, but also actively supports it with its time, talents and treasure.
I would also like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to those who were visiting our campus each of these evenings. We appreciate your patience and understanding about the reorganization of some of our services during these times.
Our transformation of health care in Gwinnett began in 2006 with the opening of Gwinnett Medical Center - Duluth. Since that time, we have opened an imaging center in Hamilton Mill, renovated Glancy Rehabilitation Center with all-private rooms and upgraded many services.
Within the next month, our medical professionals and physicians will begin caring for patients in the North Tower, a facility designed around our most important customers - families and visitors, patients and the medical professionals who provide a level of care that is nationally renowned.
We look forward to being able to meet your needs even better in the near future as we continue to transform our care.
