NORCROSS - A dispute outside a gas station near Norcross turned deadly when someone opened fire Friday afternoon.
Police said two Hispanic men were arguing outside a Texaco station on Singleton Road near Indian Trail-Lilburn Road when one man produced a handgun and shot the other multiple times. Police responded to the scene about 12:45 p.m., where they found the victim dead. Cpl. David Schiralli said it wasn't clear Friday if the two men knew each other. "At this time, investigators are following leads and interviewing possible witnesses in an attempt to learn the motive behind the shooting," Schiralli said. The suspect fled in a white vehicle, he said. Police did not identify the victim. Police urge anyone with information about the shooting to call the Gwinnett police homicide unit at 770-513-5300.More like this story
