Wesleyan quarterback Conor Welton was selected as the Touchdown Club of Atlanta's back of the week on Wednesday.
The senior completed 17 of 21 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns in last Friday's 28-2 win over Holy Innocents'. Welton will be honored at Monday's TD Club meeting at the Fox Sports Grill at Atlantic Station, along with lineman of the week Daniel Bailey of Creekview. Lovett's Mike Muschamp, who led last week's upset of No. 1 Buford, is the club's coach of the week. North Paulding is the organization's team of the week. Former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr is the luncheon's featured speaker.More like this story
