LAWRENCEVILLE - A pedestrian died in a predawn collision near a Lawrenceville exit ramp on Wednesday, an official said.
A passersby reported a driver struck a man at 4:56 a.m. near the Ga. Highway 316 westbound exit ramp onto Ga. Highway 120, said Gwinnett County Fire Department spokesman Capt. Thomas Rutledge. The man, who was not identified Wednesday, died at the scene, Rutledge said. Several callers reported the collision to 911, he said. The Lawrenceville Police Department is investigating.More like this story
