LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County Public Schools received $250,000 in scholarship money in the Broad Prize for Urban Education on Wednesday.
The top school system, Aldine Independent School System outside of Houston, Texas, won $1 million in scholarship money. The award honors large school districts that have made the greatest gains in closing the achievement gap, especially among minority students.More like this story
