LOGANVILLE - A drive-by shooting in a Loganville trailer park hospitalized two men who were hit in their living room late Monday, police said.
Shots rang out about 11:45 p.m. on Howe Lane in the Gwinnett Estates Mobile Home Park, located off U.S. Highway 78 near Rosebud Road, police said.
Both victims - two men, ages 44 and 39 - are expected to survive, police said. Neither was identified Tuesday.
Gwinnett police Cpl. David Schiralli said no arrests have been made, though investigators have leads on suspects. At least one handgun was used in the assault, Schiralli said.
Benjamin Abrca, who lives next door to the targeted trailer, said he heard three shots late Monday that shattered two windows. He identified his neighbors as "MC" and "Thomas," two friends who've shared the trailer for several years, he said.
Both remained hospitalized Tuesday, he said.
Abrca said the two "Americans" occasionally worked as landscapers and generally kept their noses clean.
Another apparently random shooting happened in the neighborhood last week, when a bullet was found lodged in a trailer several rows away, Abrca said.
No one was hurt in the earlier shooting, he said.
