Karen Lee Soop, age 62, of Hoschton, GA, resting in the assurance of her favorite verses, Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:25-6. Karen Lee Soop lives today cancer free forever, having entered into the presence of her Lord on Sunday night September 6, 2009. Born on July 30, 1947 and raised along the “Jersey Shore”, Karen was the daughter of the late Russell W. & Shirley Soop. Karen survived by her Brother an Sister-in-law: Russell Soop Jr. & Ruth, Nephews: Chet & Darlene Soop, Michael D. & Felicia Soop, Russell W. & Dana Soop III, James Robert & Deatra Soop; Great Nephews & Nieces Brady & Jana Soop, Bridget & Paul Dawson, and Anthony, Austin, Dustin & Taylor Soop; Great Great Nephew & Niece: Josiah Soop & Rilee Smith, and a host of friends made through the last 33 years here in Georgia. Karen was a faithful member of New Canaan Baptist Church, where she touched many lives through her gifts of teaching, encouraging, and her tireless endeavors with the W.M.U. The Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at New Canaan Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 7:30 PM with Michael and Brady Soop officiating.
