Depp back for new 'Pirates' film in 2011

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Avast! Disney said a new 'Pirates of the Caribbean' film is on yonder horizon.

Johnny Depp sailed onstage Thursday on a pirate ship in Anaheim, Calif., to help announce the forthcoming installment of Disney's blockbuster film franchise.

Depp will reprise his role as Capt. Jack Sparrow in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,' slated for summer of 2011. It's the fourth in a series.

LOS ANGELES - Susan Boyle is bringing her act to America.

The Scottish sensation of 'Britain's Got Talent' will make her U.S. TV debut on the season finale of 'America's Got Talent,' according to a person close to the series. The person, who lacked authority to release the information, spoke Friday on condition of anonymity.

The dowdy Boyle surprised viewers of 'Britain's Got Talent' with her soaring rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream.' But she herself was taken aback by her sudden fame, which she has said hit her like a 'giant demolition ball.' She was hospitalized for exhaustion after the British show.

The two-part finale of 'America's Got Talent' airs Monday and Wednesday on NBC, both at 8 p.m.

Erin Andrews says she thought career was over

ESPN reporter Erin Andrews said she thought her career was over after secretly taped nude footage of her began circulating on the Internet.

Andrews appeared on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' on Friday in a taped 10-minute segment. This was her first interview on the topic and it was part of the show's kickoff to its 24th season.

Wearing a black dress, Andrews was composed in talking about the 'nightmare' of knowing the blurry five-minute video was on the Internet and being harrassed by paparazzi after the story became news in July.
