Don and Terry Blair of Dacula announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Michelle Blair of Dacula, to James Bryan Poley of Roswell, son of Lewis and Janet Poley of Roswell.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mildred Blair of Kingsport, Tenn., the late James Blair Jr., Roy Buchanan of Kingsport, Tenn., and the late Ginger Buchanan. She is a 2000 graduate of Dacula High School and a graduate of the University of West Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in community counseling.
The future groom is the grandson of Edith Heron of Bristol, Tenn., the late Elsdon Heron and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Poley. He is a 2001 graduate of Roswell High School and a graduate of the University of West Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in biology. He received a doctorate of physical therapy from Georgia State University, and once he passes his state licensure exam will be employed with Restore Neurobehavioral Health in Roswell as a physical therapist.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 10 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
