ATLANTA - FBI officials arrested a Suwanee computer programmer Monday on federal charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.
Michael L. Asher, 43, was arrested without incident at his Alpharetta office, where he works for a telecommunications firm, following an investigation by the FBI's safe child task force, authorities said. Asher is scheduled to appear Thursday at the Richard B. Russell Federal Courthouse in Atlanta for a bond hearing. Asher formerly lived in Conyers, and the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation, said Gregory Jones, FBI special agent in charge.More like this story
