“BUCK” Jimmy “Buck” Buchanan, age 60, of Warwick, GA formerly of Snellville, GA died on October 29, 2009. He is survived by; Brother & Sister-in-law, Snell & Marlene Buchanan of Loganville, GA; Sister & Brother-in-law, Bobbie Susan & Dean Williams of Lawrenceville, GA; Aunt, Mrs. Hugh F. (Doris) Snell of Snellville, GA. Nephew, James Buchanan of Loganville, GA; Niece, Emily Williams of Atlanta, GA; Numerous Cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, William Erskine Buchanan and mother, Bobbie Snell Buchanan. Jimmy was a 1967 graduate of South Gwinnett High School where he excelled as a baseball and football player. He attended West Georgia College and had worked for E.R. Snell Contractor, Inc. and Southern Bell. Jimmy's greatest joy in life was being a Field-Trial Dog Trainer and Plantation Manager in South Georgia. He was a free-spirit, loved the outdoors and cherished the love of his family and friends. A Memorial Service Celebrating the Life of Jimmy “Buck” Buchanan will be held Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Frank Cofer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Foundation of GA, 550 Pharr Rd., Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30305 in Memory of Jimmy “Buck” Buchanan. A private interment service for Jimmy's cremated remains will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.wagesfuneralhome.com Tom M.
