DULUTH -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday evening while apparently trying to cross Sugarloaf Parkway.
Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. David Schiralli said the incident happened in front of the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
"He was crossing against the light and was hit. He died at the scene," Schiralli said.
Schiralli said the man was approximately 50 years old.
Investigators were still on the scene at press time Friday.
