Gwinnett Daily Post
NORCROSS -- Apparently the Great Health Spa offers customers more than the "Holistic Healing and Cleansing" it advertises on its MySpace page.
Gwinnett investigators conducting "code compliance checks" at the massage parlor Tuesday arrested four people, charging one with prostitution.
According to police, an undercover officer with Gwinnett's Special Investigations Section was offered sex at Holcomb Bridge Road spa.
Police arrested Mihae Whitney, charging her with prostitution. Also arrested were Sang Ho Nam, of Lilburn, Sang Hgong Yu, of Suwanee, and Misun Carlyon, of Flushing, N.Y.
Charges included keeping a place of prostitution and massage without a permit.
Police spokesman Officer Brian Kelly said the checks are done to make sure businesses are complying with state and county laws.
"In this instance, during the course of that investigation, the arrested individuals committed acts which constituted probable cause for their respective arrests," Kelly said.
Police have been to the spa before and now its operators are reportedly planning to surrender its business license after the latest bust.
A message on the spa's phone said its mailbox was full Friday.
Jail records show all four suspects are free on bond.
