Agnes S. Klanac, 83, of Cumming, GA (formerly of Tucker, GA) died peacefully, Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Chestnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cumming. Born on November 24, 1925 in Saratoga Springs, NY to the late James and Margaret Searls, Agnes earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emerson College in Boston, Ma. Prior to raising her family, she was an accomplished actress and part of a Northeast Acting Company that included many notable actors and actresses of the day. Agnes worked for almost 10 years for the Georgia Department of Labor in Atlanta. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother and loved by all. Beyond her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, George Klanac, brother William Searls and beloved identical twin sister, Anne Morgan. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Donovan of Knoxville, TN, son and daughter-in-law, James and Christine Klanac, and son, Matthew Klanac of Clarkston, MI. Adored eldest sister, Virginia Monet of Alexandria, VA. Nine grandchildren, David and wife, Ashley H Klanac, Ashley C. Klanac, Jason Klanac, Katherine Donovan, Julia and husband Wesley Bland, Christopher Donovan, Jennifer Donovan, Patricia Donovan and Matthew Donovan, Nephews Bill Monet and Keith Morgan, niece, Michelle Morgan, and special friend Tonya Roberts. There will be a viewing on Tuesday evening, October 27, 2009 from 6-9 pm at Lowndes and McLane Funeral Home, 4320 Cowan Road, Tucker. A Mass of Christian Burial is to be celebrated Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 10:30am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 636 W. Ponce De Leon Avenue, Decatur.
