Robin and Richard Porter of Lilburn announce the engagement of their daughter, Marguerite Elizabeth Porter of Pickens, S.C., to West Michael Bishop of Pickens, S.C., son of Sandy and Wade Bishop of Houghton Lake, Mich.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Patricia and Robin Hoerner of Edisto Island, S.C. She is a graduate of South Gwinnett High School, Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. She is employed by the Clemson Extension Agency. The future groom is the grandson of Cynthia and Mickey Bishop of Hudson, Mich. He is a graduate of Houghton Lake High School of Michigan, Western Michigan and Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. He is employed by Clemson University as a graduate assistant. The wedding is planned for October 2010 in Pickens, S.C.More like this story
