BUFORD - The main square will be filled with activity today as historic Buford celebrates fall.
The city has combined its annual fall festival and a car show to draw residents to the northeast corner of Gwinnett County for carriage rides, artist displays, a model train display, kids' activities and more. Downtown restaurants and merchants will be open throughout the festival, enticing hungry guests and savvy shoppers to venture into their buildings. Festivalgoers are invited to explore the Buford Museum during their visit to the downtown area, where the city's history as a world leader in leather tanning and production is preserved. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. More information can be found online at www.visitbuford.com.
