Mr. Robert Paul, age 74, of Buford, GA passed on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. He was preceded in death by: parents, Edgar and Mamie Paul; and brother, Reid Paul. He is survived by: wife, Verna Paul, Buford, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Gina Paul and Robbie and Laura Paul; granddaughter, Lanier Paul; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brinson and Lorene Paul, Murfreesboro, NC and Don and Barbara Paul, Austin, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Clyde Sutton, Hertford, NC; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Paul was born March 3, 1935 in Beaufort County, NC. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired manager of a retail merchandise store. Mr. Paul was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Buford with Rev. Bill Wade officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p m.
