HOSCHTON - Police on Monday identified a motorist killed in a single-vehicle crash last week as 25-year-old Jerriod Grizzle of Savannah.
The 2005 Chevrolet Equinox that Grizzle was riding in left the roadway and stuck a tree on Hog Mountain Road about a mile south of Ga. Highway 124 early Friday afternoon, police said. A woman driving the vehicle, along with an infant passenger, received injuries that officials said were not life-threatening. Grizzle died at the scene. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt. Gwinnett police said in 45 percent of fatal crashes investigated by accident experts this year, the victims failed to wear seat belts.More like this story
