The city of Sugar Hill is ready to kick off a change of seasons with the ninth annual Sugar Hill Fall Festival on Saturday. The one-day event, held rain or shine, runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and includes everything from a 5K race to a chili cookoff to a motorcycle show.
The festival, held at E.E. Robinson Park, is an annual rite for the city and begins with a parade at 10 a.m. At the park there will be arts and crafts vendors as well as carnival games. For the kids, there will be a petting zoo, face painting and an inflatable obstacle course and rides. The motorcycle show goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is also a home expo and a wellness expo. The city is also conducting a food drive, with free ride passes available with a donation of a bag of food. For more information on the food drive or the festival, call 770-831-7413 or go to www.cityofsugarhill.com.More like this story
