STATESBORO - Three college administrators have been named finalists for the presidency at Georgia Southern University.
The state Board of Regents announced Thursday that David Belcher from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Brooks Keel from Louisiana State University and Kathleen Long from the University of Florida are being considered for the job. Belcher is provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at Arkansas. Keel is vice chancellor for research and economic development at LSU. Long is the associate provost and dean of the College of Nursing at Florida. Georgia Southern President Bruce Grube is leaving his post at the end of the year. No date has been set to select his replacement.More like this story
