Joy and Tom Callahan and Billy Jones of Duluth announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Jones of Buford, to Adam Trombly of Buford, son of Diane and Tom Trombly of Chazy, N.Y.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Helen Jones of Duluth, Rose Nafus of Sayreville, N.J., the late Bobby Jones and the late T. A. and Betty Brumbalow. She is a 2004 graduate of Duluth High School and a 2008 graduate of Mercer University, where she received a bachelor's degree in engineering. She is employed with POWER Engineers Inc. in Norcross as an electrical engineer.

The future groom is the grandson of Marie Messina of Pensacola, Fla., the late Paul Messina and the late Mary and William Trombly. He is a 2002 graduate of Chazy Central Rural School, a 2004 graduate of SUNY Canton and a 2007 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, where he received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology. He is employed with POWER Engineers, Inc. as a structural engineer.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 17 at Forrest Hills Resort in Dahlonega.
