LAWRENCEVILLE - The Gwinnett County Fire Department will kick off National Fire Prevention Week on Sunday with a "Fire Safety Day and Open House" at Fire Station No. 20 in Lawrenceville.
The event will go from 1 to 3 p.m. and will include fire station tours, fire truck displays, safety programs for children and adults and the youth Fire Safety Training Village. National Fire Prevention Week is from Sunday through Oct. 10. On Oct. 11, the fire department will host another open house at Fire Station No. 27 on Old Fountain Road, Dacula.
