Foyle's War Sets 1-5 From Dunkirk to VE Day (NR)
Movie: 4 stars out of 4 Disc: 4 stars out of 4 Defying most of the cliches associated with stodgy British TV dramas, "Foyle's War" is also an unusual take on World War II productions. With 19 feature length episodes spread over six seasons, it is a painstakingly crafted and amazingly acted mammoth work that begs for repeat viewings. By regulating one episode per disc, the production values are remarkably high and the bountiful extras offer long-time followers something new. Those same fans will be glad to hear there are three new episodes in production and scheduled for air in early 2010.
