Sugar Hill resident to perform concert at Red Clay Theatre

DULUTH -- Paul Tate's latest CD project is appropriately titled for the holiday season.

For "Grateful," the Sugar Hill resident has collaborated with Graham Kuhn of Marietta to produce 10 tracks of familiar holiday and spiritual favorites, including "O Holy Night," "Carol of the Bells," "Mary Did You Know" and "You Raise Me Up."

Tate is an internationally recognized composer, and several of his songs appear in hymnal resources. He has previously released more than 10 recordings of vocal and piano music.

Tate and Kuhn first sang together in the band Vocal Tonic in the late 1990s. Kuhn, a classically trained vocalist, serves as choir director for the Church of St. Ann in Marietta.

Gwinnett residents can join Tate and Kuhn for a concert and CD release Friday at Red Clay Theatre in Duluth. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door if seats are available.
