James Douglas Bennett, age 71 of Buford, died November 20, 2009. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday November 23, 2009 at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel with Rev. Jack Lawson and Rev. Brian Evans officiating. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth. Mr. Bennett was a native of Buford and was a chemical operator for Boyle Midway, where he retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of Meadow Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Bevlen Bennett, daughter Lisa Bennett, daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Tim Autry, granddaughter Madison Rene' Autry, grandson Slaton Bennett Autry, granddaughter MyKenna Rhae Autry, mother Loraine Brock all of Buford, brother Danny Bennett of Cumming, 2 nieces and 4 nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory Duluth Chapel 770-476-2535.
